May 12/10 8:22 am - Pacific Cycling Centre Offers Training Camps for MTB & Road

Pacific Cycling Centre is hosting two training camps in June, in mountain biking and Masters road cycling.

The camps will be led in Victoria, BC by Elite Master Coach Houshang Amiri, with a limited number of participants to ensure a quality training experience.

"The mountain bike camp will focus on improving athletes' technical skill and endurance in Canada's premier mountain biking destination of Victoria, BC," says Amiri. "The Masters road camp is an excellent opportunity for athletes to ramp up their training before Nationals in Edmonton, or to improve their fitness level."

Pacific Cycling Centre trains top Olympic and world champion cyclists in mountain bike, road and track. Participants in both camps will have the opportunity to see how these athletes train and build their endurance.

Mountain Bike Training Camp
Dates: June 4, 5 and 6, 2010 inclusive
Location: Victoria, BC
Level: Intermediate
Number of participants: 5-10
Deadline to sign up: May 21, 2010
Cost: $367.00 (includes GST). Please make cheque payable to Pacific Cycling Centre.

Masters Road Cycling Training Camp
Dates: June 11, 12 and 13, 2010 inclusive
Location: Victoria, BC
Level: Intermediate
Number of participants: 6-12
Deadline to sign up: May 28, 2010
Cost: $294 (includes GST). Please make cheque payable to Pacific Cycling Centre.
