Volunteers needed for Robert Cameron Law Cycling Series - Victoria, BC, May 28-30.

With only 2 weeks to go, the Robert Cameron Law Cycling Series is still looking for volunteers to help with course marshalling for the La-z-boy Bastion Square Grand Prix on Sunday, May 30, 2010.  The event begins at 8:00am and finishes at 2:00pm

No previous marshalling experience required, although it would be preferred.   Role involves working an assigned marshal team on a designated pedestrian crossing area on the Bastion Square Grand Prix course.  Marshal teams would be responsible for allowing for safe crossing of pedestrians during the racing events.

All volunteers will have free coffee, baked goods, fruit provided for courtesy of Tim Hortons and Peninsula Coop.

In addition, a volunteer appreciation party will be held one week after the cycling series which will consist of food, drinks, and lots of draw prizes.
