Trek Red Truck p/b Mosaic Homes Cycling Team is pleased to announce that Alison Sydor, Canada's most accomplished female cyclist, has joined the team in an advisory capacity. The recently retired professional athlete says she is looking forward to sharing her vast wealth of knowledge in the sport, working with both the team's management and the team athletes.
"The Trek Red Truck racing program has already proven itself to be a very successful rider development program," commented Sydor. "I appreciate very much its mandate, its values and its solid group of team partners. I'm looking forward to being a part of a great group of people who have already given back a lot to the sport here. I'm pleased to be able to share my 23 years of racing experience in the sport to support, where I can, the team's current and future goals."
Alison will accompany the team to its annual training camp to be held in Santa Rosa, California from April 16th - 24th, where she will assist riders with their pre-season race preparation.
Alison is then going to host two training camp sessions, the first May 11th - 15th, and then May 18th - 22nd. These two camps will be supported by the team but open to individuals who would like to ride the quiet, beautiful roads of the Okanagan Valley.
Tailored primarily to riders preparing for the upcoming grand fondo (or triathlon) season, you will receive the best coaching, mentoring, and road riding advice possible. Incorporated into each productive day, cyclists will enjoy daily massage, mechanical support, fantastic meals, and some relaxation time. Due to the special and personalized approach of these camps there will be limited space available so, if interested, please contact Alison through the team e-mail: email@example.com
