UPDATE @3pm. Julian Holland has been found safe and sound
Sandy Persaud has asked us to spread the word that her brother-in-law, Julian Holland, has been missing since yesterday after heading out on a bike ride in the Hamilton (Ontario) area. The authorities have been notified, however, we are asking that all cyclists riding in the area keep a look out, and if you happen to see him yesterday, please provide any information to the contact below.
Julian Holland is 36, white, approximately 5 ft. 7 inches, blonde hair, green eyes. He rides a Jamis red, white and black racing bike with pink tape on one handle bar, yellow tape on the other. He was wearing black cycling shorts, a short sleeved white and black top and cleats.
He was last seen by my sister at 4 pm yesterday (June 25th) at Bayfront in Hamilton. The previous day, he had biked from Bayfront, looping around Cootes Paradise and heading to Burlington along the trail parallel to Lakeshore, which took him about 2 hours. She thinks he tried to do that yesterday to better his time. He only took a bottle of water and had no wallet, so it was unlikely he was planning a longer trip, as he only started up biking again a month ago.
