The Turkey Cross presented by Slowburn Racing– Saturday October 6th, Ancaster Fairgrounds

A new race to this year's calendar, the Turkey Cross will prove to be a Cyclocross crowd pleaser. With a $2400* cash prize purse, turkey preems for thanksgiving, medals, and swag this race is sure to be one of the highest payout races of the year.  Being held at the Ancaster Fairgrounds ( map  ), an easy 1 hour drive from most of Southern Ontario and minutes off Hwy 403. The course consists of a perfect European mix of gravel, grass, pavement, natural slopes and car derby pits combined with speedy hard pack and a USGP style finish section.

All the usual race categories of M1/Elite, M2/Women, M3/Junior are set with up to $200 for a race winner available, and all racers will be eligible for upgrade points. You must race in your lisenced category, or secure upgrades from OCA prior to race day. No Exceptions. There will be a “SPORTIF” race held at Turkey Cross consisting of 3 laps of the same course; 11 or 70, male or female, they will all toe the line to see who wins the “Sippy cup”.

The SPCA will be on site with the new WIGGLE WAGON, a converted bus that has cats and dogs present to entertain kids, and educate parents about all the nuances that arise with having pets; spay and neuter, adoption, care, etc.
