David Michael Kosick
February 20, 1953 to December 26, 2012

Dave Kosick passed away peacefully at home on Boxing Day, surrounded by his family, after battling cancer for over two years.  He was a long time member of Team Soliton and Team Escape Velocity Cycling Club, and Treasurer of The Burnaby Velodrome.

Dave was very well respected and a friend to many in the cycling community of B.C.  He competed in the Masters Category in both road and track racing for many years.  He was was a tireless volunteer at the Burnaby Velodrome  and Escape Velocity road races as well as a mentor to many young cyclists in the Vancouver area.

Dave’s family would like to express their thanks for all the love, support and kind words they have received.  A Celebration of Dave’s life will take place Sunday, December 30th, at the Semiahmoo Fish and Game Hall at 1-3 pm, at 1284 184 St., Surrey, BC.  As this is a celebration, his family asks you to join them in wearing bright colours in Dave's honour.
