With the start of the new year, it is with great pleasure the National Cycling Centre - Atlantic Canada announces a new partner for its Computrainer winter program. Fitting enough, we are pleased to announce the arrival of Protherapy - Stephen Handel as part of our growing family of sponsors.

“We felt the partnership between Protherapy - Stephen Handel and our Computrainer Program was a perfect fit. The two [are] promoting healthy and physical activity within the community,” mentions the Centre president, Mr. Guy Vincent.

The dedicated team at Protherapy will help you return to work, return to play, return to life - as quickly as possible. Stephen Handel has ten years of experience in the assessment and treatment of injuries ranging from foot and ankle, to shoulder and spine conditions. He has a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Victoria and a Diploma in Sports Injury Management from Sheridan Institute of Technology. Stephen is a Canadian Certified Pedorthist - an orthotic and orthopaedic footwear expert - as well as a Certified Athletic Therapist. With two World Championship events and a national age group championship crown to his credit, Stephen's cycling knowledge and experience is a welcome addition to the Cycling Centre.

The Centre’s Protherapy - Stephen Handel Computrainer Program proposes a variety of sessions for all groups, from youth to the most aggressive cyclists, along with some women specific sessions via our MultiRider system. MultiRider provides a technically superior method of indoor GROUP bike training and racing. It's a great way to motivate people to stick with an athletic or exercise program. The National Cycling Centre, in Dieppe’s St-Anselme Park, doubles as an indoor setup for up to five riders at a time connected to one PC through a USB Hub.

To book a session is as easy as visiting the Centre’s web site (www.AtlanticCyclingCentre.com) and clicking on the “Activity Calendar”. From this point, you’ll be able to correspond with our ride leaders.

Contact Stephen Handel on Facebook or at info@protherapy.ca.
