July 4/13 10:09 am - World-class Riders to Race Sudbury Canada Cup

Canada's best Mountain Bikers will converge on the Naughton trails near Sudbury on July 13/14 for the Sudbury Canada Cup/Ontario Cup cross country races. World Champion and Olympian, Catherine Pendrel, along with Olympians Geoff Kabush and Emily Batty are confirmed to race. Other teams from at least 8 Provinces and Yukon territory will join the field. These riders are in for a real mountain bikers treat, racing on the world class trails built by the Walden Mountain Bike Club at the Naughton trails.

The Sudbury Canada Cup/Ontario Cup features a weekend of activity open to riders of all ages and abilities with many different categories, and also welcomes spectators to watch these amazing riders in action.

Entry is open for the event until Saturday, July 13th, at 5:00 pm. All riders must be pre-entered to participate. There is NO day-of entry for this event.

Riders can pre-ride the course on Friday, July 12th, 4 pm to 9 pm, and on Saturday, July 13th, 9 am to 5 pm . Pre ride fee of $10 will be collected by the club. Pre-ride fees and on site entry are Cash payment only.
