The 2013 Canadian Track Championships, to be held in Dieppe, New Brunswick at the end of August, now has a presenting partner: Mike's Bike Shop.

As one of Canada's most prominent specialty bicycle retailers, Mike's Bike Shop has now opened its brand new, state of the art, 16,000 sq./ft retail facility. With its most recent accolade being receiving as the City of Dieppe's business excellence award for 2013, the independently and locally owned shop is continuing its fast paced growth.

“From Day 1 of the National Cycling Centre - Atlantic Canada, Mike's Bike Shop has been a great supporter of the development of elite cycling in the region," said Charles Cormier, President of the organizing committee of the event. "Over the years, it has supported, among others, the Centre's Selection program, the Pepsi Cup, and is currently the driving force behind the Tuesday night series, the unique Mike's Bike Shop Cup. It has also supported all five Canadian Championships that took place in Dieppe since 2001."

As part of the community, Mike's Bike Shop is also very active by supporting many municipal programs as well as its own local cycling Club. For 2013, the organizing committee of the 2013 Canadian Track Championships is very happy to once again be able to count on the support of owner Rick Snyder as the official presenter of the event.

The 2013 Canadian Track Cycling Championships presented by Mike's Bike Shop begins August 27th and runs through September 1st. Canada's best cyclists are expected to participate in this year's event, held for the second consecutive year at the UCI-regulated outdoor velodrome. Mike's Bike Shop joins a growing list of partners for the event, including the Province of New Brunswick, the City of Dieppe, McDonald's, Coastal Inn, Giant, FitWorks, ProTherapy, Gatorade, MacDonald Buick GMC Cadillac LTD, Bell Alliant, Office Interiors, Sobey's and Investor's Group.
