The Government of Ontario has opened two policies for public consultation, in support of the Ministry of Transportation's Ontario Cycling Strategy . The #CycleON strategy is a twenty-year plan developed to support and encourage cycling in Ontario, with the overall vision of making Ontario a more cycle-friendly province.
The first consultation initiative seeks public input on the Province’s ideas on the design of a proposed Ontario Municipal Cycling Infrastructure Program .
The second seeks input on the proposed approach to supporting cycling skills training programs .
MTO has provided a series of questions to guide your input; interested members of the public, including cyclists, and members of relevant groups, are invited to respond and provide opinions and expertise. The deadline to submit comments is October 31st.
