UCI MTB Teams : New Record In 2006

Some three weeks from the UCI 2006 MTB World Cup in Curaçao, where will take place the an event of the Olympic-format cross-country, the UCI announces that for the coming season 50 MTB Teams are registered as per conditions and deadlines foreseen by the regulations.

This result, which is in itself a record, confirms the growth of MTB discipline on an international level. In comparison, the UCI reminds us that in fact, some 28 teams were registered in 2004 and 36 in 2005.
