PacificSport and the BC Chamber of Commerce have partnered in the development of the PacificSport JobStore, an on-line tool that allows athletes and employers to connect with each other.

The PacificSport JobStore includes job postings, hiring and interviewing tips and a newsletter for both athletes seeking employment and employers seeking staff. Developed by PacificSport and WCG International Consultants Ltd., the site has been adopted by the BC Chamber of Commerce.

"Athletes often seek employers who can provide flexibility around the demands of their training and competitive schedules," said Roger Skillings, CEO of PacificSport. "And employers often search for employees with the attributes of performance athletes ˆ disciplined, dedicated and performance driven. This resource is a win-win solution and I'm very proud that PacificSport is part of the equation."

PacificSport JobStore is available to all BC Chamber of Commerce members and all athletes registered with PacificSport at its centres in the Fraser Valley, Interior BC, Okanagan, Northern BC, Vancouver Island, Sea to Sky, Vancouver and Victoria by simply logging on to jobstore.pacificsport.com.
