Trek Bicycles - Fit for Women Weekend May 12th to 14th

Hosted by Trek Bicycles, Shimano Canada, Rider's Cycles, Fort Street Cycles and the Highland View Farm Bike Club.

The goal of this weekend is for women to have fun, improve their cycling skills and get to know each other. Friday night is a social evening, Saturday is a Trek test ride event and Sunday is a women's skills camp.

Event Description: A casual evening to thank all women cyclists for their patronage and to welcome new women cyclists to our store! Join the staff at Rider's Cycles, Trek's professional mechanic Christina Garrison, Dr. Day Deans-Buchan and Shimano's Elladee Brown for tips on bicycle mechanics, nutrition and conditioning. We will have refreshments, snacks, product discounts and prizes for all.

Description: The Trek WSD Fit for Women Demo Tour will be offering Women Specific Design road and mountain bikes to test ride. Come out to Highland View Farm and try the Trek WSD difference! We have incredible cross-country, road and freeride routes for you to explore and enjoy. Trek's professional mechanic Christina Garrison will be there to fit you to bikes and answer any questions you may have about women's bikes and accessories. There will also be swag giveaways from Trek. This is a really fun event, not to be missed!
Women of all ages and cycling abilities are welcome!

Time & Cost: 9 AM - 4 PM, $70
Event: Women's Mountain Bike Camp at Highland View Farm.

Description: We will be offering a one-day Women's Mountain Bike Camp presented by Trek Bicycles. The camp will be taught by Joan Jones of the West Coast School of Mountain Biking and will focus on technical skills improvement.

If you are a female cyclist who wants to improve your skills on dirt, this event is for you. If you don't own a mountain bike, you can reserve a new 2006 Trek full suspension mountain bike for the day. All skill levels welcome! Space is limited so call to reserve a spot and a bike! This camp will be fun!! There is limited space as we want a high instructor to student ratio!
