Norco VPS-Fest #2 Blue Mountain ON, July 8th

A beautiful sunny day brought out lots of downhillers for Norco's VPS-Fest party at Blue Mountain Resort in Collingwood Ontario. This is the second stop on Norco's community festival for the gravity set (Sun Peaks was last weekend and Mt. Washington, B.C. will be on August 19th). No racing, just good times on the hill and around the Norco Tent City. This is the second year that Norco has been to Blue Mountain.

According to Trisha Petrella, Norco's PR & Marketing Coordinator, and super downhiller, "It's just a chance to get everyone together for a party. We've got our Norco customers here, member's from our team, and people from our Toronto office. Everyone gets to know one another a lot better and we have a great time doing it. No one else is doing anything like this."

Register for the VPS-Fest and you get - price lift tickets at Blue Mountain. Over 125 riders took advantage of this offer. However, there were lots more people in attendance because so many locals have annual passes. Long lines were the order of the day for the ride up, but multiple runs were enjoyed by all. Even better, Norco brought their fleet of demo bikes, their crew did free flat fixes for one and all, plus they did wrenching wherever needed. Lots of swag was available too, with proceeds being donated to IMBA Canada.

Also on scene was young Norco Team trials wizard Dylan Korba, who put on an energetic performance of jumps and spins for a captivated audience. Korba also made himself ultra-popular with the younger folks in the audience by giving away handfuls of Norco stickers.

A great day, a downhill, Norco bikes, Norco swag, plus the Blue Mountain Chili Cook-Off made for lots of happy bikers. Check out the VPS-Fest when it comes close to you. Even if you don't own a Norco you're still welcome. You may get laughed at a bit, but that's okay. Full details at www.vpsfest.com
