The Federation Quebecoise des Sports Cyclistes, in collaboration with the Camp Fortune organizing committee is pleased to present the Quebec Mountain Bike Championships DEVINCI from August 4-6 2006.

Some of Quebec and Canada's best riders, - such as Quebec's Marie-Hélène Premont - currently ranked amoung the top riders in the World ˆ as well as Beauport's Raphael Gagné who will represent Canada at the upcoming World Championships ˆ should be present. The Quebec Championships will be the basis for the FQSC's list of carded athletes for the 2007 season, so competition will be fierce.

In the Cross-Country division, two young riders close to attaining Junior titles in 2006 are Francis Morin (Devinci) and Alexandra Gelinas-Hamelin. In the Downhill competition, Charles Alexandre Dubé comes to the provincial championships with a 3rd place finish at Nationals. Also posting solid results at Nationals was Dominik Menard in 8th place. The duo of Dubé and Menard will represent Canada at the upcoming World Champioships alongside Hans Lambert.
