Charles Dionne and Saunier Duval Prodir Split in 2007

French internet website Velo-Club du Net posted recently news that Canada's Charles Dionne will not have his contract renewed with Spanish ProTour team Saunier-Duval Prodir. The site is quoted as saying 'Fritsch, Pagliarini, Olsen, Dionne and Zaugg (Gerolsteiner) will no longer be a part of Mauro Gianetti's (Director Sportif) team.'

This news marks yet another blow to Dionne, who has already been sidelined for the majority of the 2006 season due to a persistant health problem - a restricted blood vessel in his leg. La Flamme Rouge, another French website is speculating that when Dionne returns to health his chances of racing professionally will more than likely be with an American team.
