Stephen Ferris edged out Robin Baillie to win the 'Race of the Fallen Leaves' trophy race, Sunday. They both had a time of 1:29:14 hours for the 50 km distance. Roger St. Jean out sprinted Rod Lewis for 3rd with 1:30:17. Pat Ferris was 5th.

Stephen used this race as a tune-up for the International Pro-Am Tour of San Fernando stage race, in Trinidad, next weekend. He received a 'call-up' to ride on the Marco Polo Team and will be traveling to Trinidad with them, Thursday, from Calgary.

A group of twenty riders came out under warm conditions to have a fast, late season road race. The pace was fast from the end of the 'neutral 'with Stephen Ferris and Robin Baillie forcing the pace. The pair broke away often, finally pulling away to stay in the last 15 km's. The pair of Roger St. Jean and Rod Lewis chased but could not catch them.

Bob Andrews was 6th at 1:31:34, Blaine Richter of GP 7th at 1:33:08, Ken Perry of GP 8th at 1:34:07; Provincial Bronze medalist Richard Wood was 9th at 1:36:03 and Wim Kok 10th at 1:36:05.

Barb Polehoykie was 11th at 1:36:08, Dean Lowry 1:37:24, Kevin Cooper 1:39:30, Colter Young and Gord Harris 1:43:47, Owen Giebelhaus 1:50:14 and Sam Keats 1:50:38.
