Pat Ferris won an abbreviated Thursday's Cyclo cross event doing 3 laps of the 2.00 km North Peace circuit, with a time of 25:15 minutes. Bob Andrews was a close second, also with 3 laps at 25:38 and Barb Polehoykie third at 3 laps at 27:31. Sarah Melville did 2 laps of her first cyclo-cross event.

The event was shortened due to darkness. The circuit was muddy, slippery and snowy which is perfect cyclo-cross conditions.

Coming up: Sunday Cyclo-cross at 2 pm North Peace. There will be a few Grande Prairie riders attending to duke it out with the local Blizzard riders.
