The Speed River Cycling Club is proud to host their 3rd Annual HALLOWEEN 'CROSS WEEKEND on Saturday October 28th and Sunday October 29th at Kelso Conservation Area, Milton Ontario.

This two-day event is Ontario's only cyclo-cross stage race. Presented by Speed River Bicycle (www.speedriver.com), the HALLOWEEN 'CROSS STAGE RACE will consist of a fast mix of rolling hills, pavement, gravel, grass and sand, barriers and obstacles, with one extended run up requiring you to shoulder your bike. A separate race course will be used each day.

There are cash and prizes up for grabs each race, along with draw prizes and prizes for the best Halloween costume on both days. In addition to the regular prize purse, there is also a separate prize purse for overall winners. See the race brochure for complete details.

We're also giving away a Trek Rail 1 cruiser bike, courtesy of Speed River Bicycle in Guelph! Each race entry includes a ticket for the draw, with additional tickets available for $5 each or 3 for $10.

Both novice and experienced cross racers are encouraged to come out and test themselves. This race is your last chance to prepare for the impending abundance of Halloween candy!

Entry Fees: $20 per stage, $35 for both stages + park admission extra, payable at gate.

Cash only for race fee, citizens permits, and one-day permits. Registration opens at 9:00am and closes 30 min before each start.

*ALL Competitors MUST have a valid UCI license or OCA citizens permit (available at registration) Permit is not available to U.S. riders. One-day race permits valid for both days will be available for $5.

*Riders are reminded to bring their OCA-issued cyclo-cross numbers.

Directions: From Highway 401 take Highway 25 north to Campbellville Road. Go west to Tremaine Rd. Go south to Kelso Rd then turn right and proceed to entrance of Kelso Conservation Area.
