In addition to the Canadian Cyclist of the Year awards, the Canadian Cycling Association (CCA) and the Commonwealth Centre for Sport Development (CCSD) handed out awards recognizing accomplishments at the Gala in Victoria last night (December 10th). The following is a complete list of awards presented:

CCA Awards:

Russ Coupland Award (Best Junior Performance) - Ryder Hesjedal

Male Road Athlete of the Year - Eric Wohlberg

Female Road Athlete of the Year - Linda Jackson

Female Track Athlete of the Year - Tanya Dubnicoff

Male Track Athlete of the Year - Brian Walton

Male Mountain Bike Athlete of the Year - Chris Sheppard

Female Mountain Bike Athlete of the Year - Alison Sydor

Female Downhill Athlete of the Year - Daamiann Skelton
