The Bicycle Trade Association of Canada has an employment opportunity available for a Bilingual Member Services Coordinator.

Job Description: The BTAC team has an exciting opportunity for a bilingual Membership Coordinator to develop, administer, implement and evaluate strategies, programs and other initiatives to grow and retain BTAC Retail and Supplier membership. This position works closely and cooperatively with the Executive Director.

Responsibilities:
• Member Services including member recruitment; annual member renewal; and general member services;
• Meeting and Events organization including organization of member meetings and, education and training events, and networking activities;
• Database updating and management of records;
• Developing content for member communications;
• Day-to-day contact with members and potential retailer members;
• Overseeing an annual budget for membership services;
• Management and updating of website content;
• Special Projects on an as needed basis;
• Assisting the Executive Director when required;

Qualifications:
• Excellent communications skills in both English and French (written and oral);
• 2 - 3+ years of experience in a professional association environment working in membership, business development or marketing/communications;
• The ability to work collaboratively in a small professional staff team as well as liaise effectively with members and the Board of Directors;
• Creative and self-motivated with excellent verbal and written communications skills;
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment;
• Experience in delivering high quality member services to a geographically dispersed membership;
• High degree of proficiency using Microsoft office, the internet, and other technology;
• Strong written, interpersonal, and time management skills;
• Current driver's license and access to a vehicle as well as the ability to travel locally and nationally as required;
• Various Internet research tools as well as the ability to learn new applications as required;
• CAE designation (or working towards) would be an asset;
