March 3/99 7:56 am - Canadians 2-3-4 at Redlands, Murcia, Job Opportunity

Posted by Editor on 03/3/99

Redlands Classic

No official results yet, but we did get a telephone call from David Cathcart of Team Elita, who told us that in the women's race Lyne Bessette was second, Cybil Diguistini was third and Clara Hughes fourth! Dara Rogers (sister of pro men's racer Thurlow) won the stage. The riders got away in a break, from which Timex was the big missing factor. Apparently, Timex's Pam Schuster flatted as the attack was happening. More to come.
