More good news from the S-Team in El Salvador. Cam Evans took a brilliant solo win in stage 6 today, in a move that put almost five minutes on the field. Although we don't know the time gaps yet, we can say that Cam finished solo on a tough cat 3 climb. After yesterday's tough climb that had the team riding defensively to preserve Randell's jersey, a decision was made today to go on the attack and put the pressure on the others.

With Cam away, the team could let the Mexicans and Columbians do most of the chasing, allowing Randell to sit in and save his legs for tomorrow.

That's another 12 UCI points for Canada by way of Symmetrics Cycling. The team's total for the race is now 68 points and still counting. Canada's total stands now at 327, and there's plenty more stages to go.
