Once again, the Garneau-Crocs team won the gold medal last Sunday at the Grand Prix de St-Raymond. The winner was Jamie Lamb, from Nova Scotia, who crossed the finish line after a 132-km race with a time of 3:10:39. At kilometer 98, Lamb and Mathieu Toulouse from the EVA-Devinci team launched the crucial breakaway that brought him victory. Also racing from the Garneau-Crocs senior team were Michael Joanisse in 6th place and Jean-François Racine in 12th place, only 2:38 behind the winner.

The Garneau-Crocs junior team also had a standout race, with several breakaway attempts, making it possible for four of its riders to cross the finish line among the ten first places. The young Antoine Matteau finished in 3rd place, closely followed by his teammates William Garneau in 5th place, Jérôme Boucher in 9th place and Cédrik Dion-Poitras in 10th place.

Garneau-Crocs now has its own web site, officially launched today. Find out all about riders, races, partners, recent news, performances and much more at: www.louisgarneau.com/garneau-crocs/.
