Bike Park BC Picks the Winners for the 'Ultimate Road Trip'

Twenty semi finalists were selected from thousands of entries from the UK, Canada and America, the elite 20 had to then write a short small essay on why 'they' should win the 'Ultimate Road Trip'

Marie Helene Carrier, Sherbrooke, Quebec and Chris Jones, Walnut Creek, California have been selected as the winners of the eight-day seven-night road trip to three of the world's premier lift-accessed resorts-Whistler, Sun Peaks and Mount Washington.

Chris told us this after he won:

“What better way to learn how fast you can go than spending a week chasing two of the fastest guys on the planet! For years I've been hearing people rave about the trails around Vancouver”

Marie was equally excited at the news:

“Me… taking the plane… going to BC… riding with downhill champions for 8 consecutive days… TOTALLY CRAZY!!! It's a life opportunity!!!”

The lucky winners also get to bring a friend of their choice. For more information on the winners check out their profiles at www.bikeparksbc.com

Sponsors of the event Marin Bikes, Dangerboy Components, Fox, Kenda, Clif Bar, Hayes Brakes, WTB, E-13, ODI and others will be supplying kit the four riders need over the eight days, including Marin Demo bikes.

NSMB.com will have a snap shots and words on their website as the days unfold and Mountain Biking Magazine will be joining us on the trip to write a full report in the magazine.

It's not all over for the Spot prizes; you can still win amazing prizes from the above sponsors drawn every two weeks until the end of August. Don't forget to enter at www.bikeparksbc.com

Bike Parks of BC is a partnership of six lift accessed bike parks in British Columbia, Canada who are working together to boost the profile of the province's bike parks. For more information www.bikeparksbc.com
