July 9/07 8:57 am - Team for Junior World Championships in Mexico

After yesterday's Junior Road Races, the CCA's High Performance Committee (HPC) met and has announced the team* for Junior Worlds to be held in Aguas Calientas, Mexico, August 5-12.

Men
Stéphane Cossette (QC)
Matt Potman (BC)
Guillaume Boivin (QC)
Spencer Smitheman (AB)

reserves
Simon Lambert-Lemay (QC)
Cody Campbell (BC)

4 for Road race, 2 for TT. Riders to participate in specific disciplines will be decided after qualifications* are met.

Women
Denise Ramsden (ON)
Danielle Kenny (AB)

* Riders selected must meet qualifications in the pursuit (2000m women, 3000m men) on the track at Nationals later this week.

Today are the time trials for Elite men, women and U23 men. The forcast calls for 90% chance of rain.
