The Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES) conducted 901 doping control tests during the first three months of the fiscal year (April to June 2007), the highest first-quarter total in CCES history. See the attached table for details by sport on tests conducted from April

The majority of tests conducted were carried out under the domestic doping control program (696 tests). The CCES also provided testing services for the Association of National Anti-Doping Organizations (ANADO, 23 tests), and on behalf of national and international federations during events held in Canada (182 tests).

Cycling had 41 tests - 6 In Competition tests and 35 Out of Competition tests during the period. Athletics was the only sport to have more Out of Competition tests. Cycling was the fourth highest tested sport, after Athletics (62), Canoe/Kayak (51) and Swimming (48).
