International Sprint Grand Prix II August 14, Trexlertown PA

Joe Veloce from Fonthill who won the Junior sprint competition at the Valley Preferred Cycling Centre (T-Town Velodrome) in Pennsylvania on Tuesday night. William Lampe from Toronto was 4th. The other Canadian Steve Meyer from Dorchester qualified a respectable 9th.

Joe set fast time at 11.4 in the Qualifying round of the Tournament. In the final in the best of 3 Joe lost the opening sprint and had to win the next 2 rounds which he did to come out on Top.

All the members of the Forest City Velodrome wish to congratulate Joe, Will and Steve for their strong showing at this very high profile Tournament.
