In the second half stage of the day, a 96.2 km race from Val les Bains to Cruas, Alex Wrubleski got 8th and is still in 3rd place at the GC. Brooke Miller from the USA won the race. The US team did a good job to keep everything together and worked well together to set up the final sprint.
All the Canadians finished in the main field with the exception of Moriah Jo McGregor, who had a difficult day, finishing 23:15 behind. Julie Beveridge, a first year Junior, had a bad crash in the descent of the last col, and will keep souvenir from Ardeche with 5 stiches on her elbow. She will be able to start tommorrow.
