By rejoining the ranks of Team Volkswagen-Trek, Eric Boily and Bruno Langlois have ensured that they will be able to count on an established and recognized structure that will allow them to perform and to achieve their personal goals.

Their return to Volkswagen-Trek will enable them to be devoted fully to their goals of an eventual contract with a high level professional team. Last year, Keven Lacombe achieved this goal with the Kelly Benefits team.

At Volkswagen-Trek the mandate has been clear since its creation more than 20 years ago; the team has the mission of propelling Québécois talent onto the North American professional scene.

For the 2008 season Boily and Langlois will join veteran Alexandre Cloutier, whose principal objective will be participation in the Paralympic Games of Beijing, in the company of tandem partner Daniel Chalifour.

Jean Sébastien Béland is another veteran of the team who will be back to share his experiment with young riders. Christian Deshaies will be at his second year of espoir, and Marc Allard will make the jump to this category for 2008.

The team is also adding four new riders: Jean Michel Lachance, François Chabot, François Charles Malo, Arnaud Papillon, all promising espoir riders.

It will be a happy mixture of youth and experience which will propel the Volkswagen-Trek team throughout the 2008 season.
