Team Director Steve Engh commented, "the addition of Mark to fill a much needed role as our Race Manager will prove to be invaluable, especially for our younger aspiring riders, who will benefit from his experiences as an athlete, and his qualifications and expertise in physiology. He will provide the support the riders need to maximize their potential and achieve a high level of success for themselves and the team."
"In 2008, the team looks to build upon last year's success, which included a Provincial Road Championship, a silver medal at the National Championships, placing top Canadian at the Tour de L'Avenir and a rider named to the National Team in Stuttgart, Germany. Ryan Anderson, the rider who provided those results, was picked up by Symmetrics Cycling this year and the many talented riders new to the team give us reason to set our goals and expectations high."
