News from the Forest City Velodrome - London, Ontario

Sad News

On Friday evening, November 23rd, our maintenance man, Bill Thornton passed away suddenly. Bill will be remembered as a person who would do anything for anyone and was a huge supporter of the Forest City Velodrome. Our condolences go out to Bill's wife Sharon, their children and their grandchildren. Bill will be missed very much by us all.

Schedule Change

In an effort to align our opening time for Recreational Riding, beginning Monday, December 10th, the FCV will open at 4 pm on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. This minor change will allow us to simplify the sessions so that everyone will know exactly when we will open. All other sessions will continue at their original times. Please check the website for the up-to-date schedule as of December 10th.

Heat

We are trying to keep the building heated to 12 degrees for all sessions. This is a work in progress. The heating system is being monitored every hour that we are open to ensure riding comfort for all members.
