Alison Sydor Receives Award

We have just received word that Alison Sydor is to be awarded the Order of British Columbia. This is a rare honour for a cyclist, but certainly deserved for Alison. Out of 138 nominees, only 14 were chosen to receive the award. The Investiture is scheduled for June 17th.


OCA Road and Track Race Numbers

A complete list of Road and Track allocated Race Numbers has now been forwarded for posting on the OCA webpage - www.ontariocycling.org. Please check the list in the next few days to ensure you are included if you have applied for your license either through the OCA or CCA. Please check the list for any errors. Club Presidents, team managers, club coaches etc. etc., please print the list off and check it out with any of your members who do not have internet access. Any irregularities should be reported to me, as soon as possible, at: bigvalto@aol.com

A number of riders have not yet picked up their allocated numbers at events. These will now be mailed this week. If you do not receive yours before your next event, you will have to use a temporary # from the organizer in the short term.
