Start off the BC summer race season with three intense days of track racing at the BVC Maydays track race! Brought to you by the Burnaby Velodrome Club and our sponsors, Maydays! takes place May 9th through 11th, and will feature exciting racing for A, B, C and Novice level riders.

Also, based on it's popularity at the recent Six Day, Saturday morning (May 10th) will host the BVC Kiddie Kilo. All kids age 10 and under are encouraged to bring their helmets and bikes and race around the track for prize packs and glory!

Maydays! is being run in a '3 Day' format, with madison races in both the A and B categories counting towards the overall omnium. So if you're racing as an A or B rider, and haven't raced madisons, sign up for one of the BVC madison clinics that are being offered over the next couple of months and get some practice in!

Maydays! is also the first event of four in the BC Track Championship Series. The Series will see riders accumulate points at the BVC Maydays!, the two GVVA Trackfests in Victoria, and will finish at the BVC Fall Challenge. A BC Track Series Champion will be crowned in the A, B, and C categories. More information on the BC Track Championship Series will be posted soon.

Maydays! race information can be found at Preregistration will be mandatory, and will be available starting March 15th. Stay tuned to the website for further details.
