2008 Zareinu Moveathon!

This annual fundraising event brings out thousands of participants across the GTA in support of the Zareinu Educational Centre, a world-renowned treatment facility that provides special education and individualized therapies to children with a wide range of physical and developmental challenges

Due to the magnitude of success and popularity, the Zareinu Moveathon has expanded to two glorious days: Zareinu Moveathon Festival and Zareinu Moveathon Pro Tour.

The 11th Annual Zareinu Moveathon Pro Tour-Sunday, June 1, 2008

The 11th Annual Zareinu Moveathon Pro Tour will be held on June 1, 2008 and features 162 km, 100km and 50 km routes through the picturesque Niagara Escarpment. Support vehicles, ride marshals and rest stations with refreshments and restrooms can be found along the route. It will start+ finish at the Milton Sports Centre with full use of change rooms, shower facilities and post ride BBQ. Participants can receive pre and post massages and will also receive a Zareinu Gift Pack, including a Louis Garneau Cycling Jersey. A personal online donation page for each rider will be on the Moveathon website to manage sponsorships (minimum sponsorship requirement of $1000 per rider.) The 11th Annual Zareinu Moveathon is a full day community fundraiser held at Downsview Park. Proceeds support the Zareinu Educational Centre, a world class day school and treatment centre for the children with a wide range of special needs. The day consists of several athletic events, followed by a huge festival and fun for the whole family! The Moveathon‚s athletic events include a 20km Family Bike Ride and a 10km Miracle Run.
