Nanimo Midweek Time Trial Nanaimo BC

April 24th

The weather for this week's event was much colder than last week.
However, winner Tony Winter, originally from Australia, still managed
to better his time by 22 seconds, possibly on account of the Louis Garneau aero helmet he got on Ebay. Rumour has it that in the coming weeks, we are going to be inundated by a hoard of triathletes. They will certainly be a welcome addition, as will Dan Proulx' group of youth riders who have been provided with new road bikes, courtesy of De Vinci and Oak Bay Bikes.

1. Tony Winter (OBB - 39 - ma), 0:24.70
2. Dan Frey (Frontrunners - 23 - sm), 0:24.49
3. Dave Steen (BC Masters - 66 - md), 0:25.25
4. Shailie Sanbrooks (OBB - 22 - sw), 0:28.70
5. Ross Palfrey (Ind. - 50 - mc), 0:41.10
