Don Valley Loblaws Trailhead Grand Opening & Trail Building Day

This Saturday, in conjunction with the Loblaws Trailhead opening, we'll be doing a trail build to improve the trails right off the trail head. This is the kick off to a season of six builds, including a visit from the IMBA Trail Care Crew in September.

Loblaws Trailhead Grand Opening

Date: Saturday May 24

Time: 10am to 2pm

Location: Loblaws parking lot, 11 Redway Rd.

The City of Toronto Sustainable Trails Initiative will be kicking off the 2008 trail building season with the opening of a new trailhead in Crothers Woods.

Join us for a trailhead dedication ceremony for Thomas Hauser, a sustainable trail building workshop, tree planting, free BBQ and visit from KONA's demo tour. Event is free and all are welcome!

The new trailhead kiosk will feature a mural by local artist Brian Harvey, the Crothers Woods Trail Map, trail etiquette guidelines and a bulletin board for park users.
