Vancouver Island Cup XC #4 - Cobble Hill Mountain

It was a warm day (finally) at a new venue, and that lead to enthusiastic riders and spectators. There was a fair bit of uphill, but that meant swoopy downhills too; you just cannot beat a classic XC course. Three laps for Experts, two for Intermediate and a single truncated lap for the Beginners.
We would like to thank the Cobble Hill Parks Commission, the Ministry of Forests and the Cowichan Valley Regional District for allowing us to play on Cobble Hill Mountain. Special thanks also goes out to Norco, Everti Bicycles and Experience Cycling for the draw prizes. Something different that seemed to be a hit was the ceramic coffee (or beer) mugs made by Trial By Fire Pottery; one went to the first place in each of the Expert & Intermediate classes.
