Developing Juniors, Espoirs, and U25s for the Road/MTB and Track World Championships
From Richard Wooles, BC Provincial Coach

Are you interested in being part of a proposed team in 2009, focusing on preparing Canadian Developing Juniors, Espoirs, and U25s for the Road/MTB and Track World Championships?

We're looking for expressions of interest at this early stage. Riders born between the years of 1985 and 1992 would be eligible. We're looking to get the best riders from across the country together, to concentrate on training and racing opportunities that will help our most talented cyclists succeed on the world stage. Athletes must be able to commit full-time to the team, with regular scheduled training sessions daily. You would need to be based in BC, and we are looking to find suitable group accommodation to make this a residential program.

The race schedule will be planned to support the goal of performing at National and World Championships to start. The majority of races throughout the year would be done together as part of the team, with one or two exceptions. This is to allow us to build a team of riders who learn to work together to win.

If you believe you have the drive, dedication, and talent to take your career to the international level, please send your name, contact details, and a cycling resume to us at canadasbest2009@gmail.com
