Pat Ferris won his 4th Club Mountain Bike Championship, Sunday, on the River circuit. He did 6 laps in a time of 50:23 minutes. Gary Hilderman was second at 51:25 and Roger St. Jean third at 52:39. Sam Keats was 4th at 1:00:05 hours and Barb Polehoykie 5th at 1:07:23. Adam Currie did 4 laps in 55:17.

Riders left the start under ideal fall conditions. 2003 champion Stephen Ferris pulled away early for a big lead until a flat tire put him out of the race at the 4th lap. Gary Hilderman and Pat Ferris dueled for the lead. Hilderman had a healthy lead at the 3rd lap. Ferris chipped away at the lead until passing him at lap 5 to take the lead and hold it to the finish.

This was the 14th edition of the club mountain bike championship. Robin Sipe was the first winner back in 1995.
