Thanks to Coach

I would like to express my thanks and appreciation to Rich Fletcher, the General Manger of Arrow Racing for all the years of dedication to his team, friends and the sport of mountain biking. Rich has decided to end a long career as G.M and head Coach of Arrow Racing to become a Rock Star with his new band "Board Of Education". Rich has been a instrumental part in building up a small mountain bike team "JAW Racing". The team was formed in 2000/2001 with a few friends who all had kids and were looking to find a way to race together and build up the sport of cycling in the Meaford/Owen Sound area.

In 2005 the team was re-named to Arrow Racing and had grown to become one of the top Mountain Bike race teams in Ontario. Arrow Racing was producing some top level riders in their categories in the Ontario Cup Mountain Bike Series. Rich had finished his Level Three coaching and was able to travel all across Canada with some team members to compete in Canada Cups and Nationals Championships.

Rich was also a great competitor, which in his racing career was highlighted when he and long time friend Scott Thomson competed in the Trans Rockies. Rich will be greatly missed in the O-Cup series but never forgotten. From the entire team and parents of Arrow Racing we wish Rich and his family all the best in his new endeavours.
