Bare Bones Track Cycling Race at the Burnaby Velodrome

Leave the fenders and rain capes at home! Another cold and wet winter may be fast approaching, but racing in the dome is just starting to heat up. Held at the Burnaby Velodrome, one of only three indoor tracks in North America, the Cycling BC Juniors are proud to present the first annual Bare Bones Track Cycling Race. With tons of racing for all categories, this 3-day event promises to be action-packed!

Starting on the evening of Friday, November 14th and running through Sunday, November 16th, this first ever Bare Bones Track Cycling Race will feature a weekend of unforgettable racing for all levels of riders:

• A, B, and C category mass start races
• Novice category mass start races
• A and B category Sprints including 200m, Keirin, Match Sprint and Chariot
• Overall Omnium for all categories

Race fees are:

$50 for A,B omnium
$30 for C and Novice omnium
$30 for A,B sprints

**Any A or B category riders entered in the omnium will also receive free entry into the A and B sprints.**

Spectators are welcomed to come watch this exciting event. Come see some of the fastest bike racers in North America battle it out on the boards at speeds in excess of 60km/h!
