Jazz Apple Pedal For 'Sweat Equity'

The Jazz Apple Women's Cycling Team is pleased to announce their 2009 partnership with 'sweat equity' charity organization, Plus3Network. www.plus3network.com

Plus3 Network, the brainchild of former Monterey Sea Otter Classic Director, Rick Sutton, combines incentive-oriented exercise with benefiting a broad cross-section of charities, including environmental protection and promoting equality and wellness causes.

Former Olympian and Jazz Apple team owner, Susy Pryde is proud to unite the Jazz Apple Women's dedication for cycling to the Plus3 Network ethic. "Alongside our dedication to FUJI Bicycles and performing in the NRC events throughout the US this season, we're tremendously motivated and inspired by the fact that every pedal revolution we make counts towards the betterment of others and the planet".

Pryde explains, "the plus3network website is the launching pad for a global community to inject a truly shared DNA in making the world a better place through exercise, particularly cycling".

In 2009 the Jazz Apple team sports an international face with athletes representing four nations across three continents, including the United Kingdom, North America and the Oceania region. The 2009 roster expands on the successful development template of previous year's to include UK based NZ Olympian, Rosara Joseph, former US National Champion, Dotsie Bausch, and burgeoning Canadian talent, Steph Roorda. Returning from 2008 is standout performer, Australian Ruth Corset, and kiwi talents, 19 year old Lauren Ellis and Malindi Maclean.
