On Sunday, Team Escape Velocity is hosting the BC Provincial Cyclo-cross Championships on a new and exciting course at Foreshore Park in Burnaby. With Provincial bragging rights on the line, this race will mark the conclusion to a very intense cyclo-cross racing season in British Columbia.

"We were excited by the caliber of the competition at EV's Cross(Port)Coquitlam! last weekend and we expect a good turn out for this race because it will determine the Provincial champions in Elite, Masters and Junior categories ." Jak New, Team Escape Velocity race director said. "We are expecting the best cyclo-cross racers to turn out, not just from the Lower Mainland but from Vancouver Island and the Interior."

The Foreshore Park course is a mostly flat grass-and-gravel course, set against the north shore of the Fraser River.
