Ottawa Roller Racing Gets Underway

The Wheelers are warming up the Ottawa winter with some hot roller racing action. We are proud owners of a 4-set competition roller kit and are taking full advantage of it.

There will be 3 events this winter - Round #1 January 24th, Round #2 February 14th and The Finals March 28th.

There are 2 events for both men and women:

500m Goldsprint style - front forks fixed on identical track bikes.
1000m free riding rollers - gear limited to 53X11.

The Wheelers Roller Race #1 is set to go! Our 4-set competition rollers are all tuned up. You don't have to race to come out and have fun. Last year's Finals made for an exciting night.

Details are as follows:

SATURDAY - January 24th
CLUB SAW - 67 Nicolas Street - Downstairs Arts Court

Doors open at 7 pm racing starts at 8 pm SHARP

500m fixed rollers - men's and women's
1000m free ride rollers - men's and women's - must have your own bike.

You can bring your own rollers to warm up in the rider pit.

TOP 16 Qualifiers head to the elimination rounds.

BRING A FRIEND

Beer and bottled water available.

$10 admission for spectators
$15 for riders.
