The Forest City Velodrome in London is searching for athletic youngsters, ages 13 to 17 years old. The 'Introduction to Track Cycling' camp will be open to boys and girls living in Ontario.

Date: Saturday February 21st at 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm.

Program Director, Rhys Bateman (London), indicated that "we want to find the next Olympian of the future, and the velodrome in London is the best place to start the search. Our youth programs at the FCV on Saturdays are geared to develop confidence and bike handling skills. It takes a long time for a rider to advance to the competitive level and we want to start now for the Youth in Ontario to try out the Forest City Velodrome."

The Forest City Velodrome has the bikes and the volunteers to make this happen. We just need the boys and girls to come out and give the track a try.

The cost of the 2 and a 1/2 hour session is $15.00. Track time, bikes, coaching and water are included. The first 13 riders to register will be able to attend this session.

The parents of young athletes can register today by sending the child's name, age and phone number to .... info@ForestCityVelodrome.ca. We will be able to answer any questions you may have.

There is more information on our website at www.ForestCityVelodrome.ca.
