On Saturday June 20th, 2009, 100 cyclists will undertake a 133 km journey from Toronto to Collingwood to raise funds to support research aimed at restoring the gift of sight to people living with vision loss.

Cycle for Sight ultimately promises to be a catalyst for personal fitness, new friendships and overall goodwill. Our vision is to bring the cycling world and the vision impaired community together for one important cause: to discover treatments and cures for eye diseases which cause blindness. To this end, all funds raised will go to the Foundation Fighting Blindness, Canada’s leading private supporter of vision research.

The journey from Toronto to Collingwood will take just over 6 hours and include a gourmet lunch en route. As a participant, you will be supported and entertained by a crew of enthusiastic volunteers along the way. Although the journey will be physically challenging whether you ride solo or by tandem bicycle, we guarantee you’ll have an uplifting experience in helping make blindness history.

Join Cycle for Sight today and become part of a new tradition!

Note: This event is capped at 100 riders and is selling out quickly.  Register now and reserve your spot!
