Newmarket Eagles Learn to Ride/Race Program

The Newmarket Eagles are pleased to announce they will be continuing their Monday night Learn to Road Ride/Race program.  This program is a 12 week program that runs every Monday night from 6:30-8:00pm starting on Monday April 27th.  This program will be run by some very experienced Eagles members, the children's parents and some wonderful volunteers.

This program is for kids aged 9-16 and of course their parents can come along and watch too!  This weekly event will consist of 6 weeks in a closed area working on bike handling, braking, cornering etc.. and 6 weeks out on the open road working on riding as a group, drafting, pace line etc..  We will emphasize safety but always also trying to make sure we have fun and a good time on the bike.

Can you ride your road bike on a teeter totter?  What about under a limbo stick?

This youth learn to ride program is only $70 for the entire season and it includes an Eagles racing jersey and a full Eagles club membership!! (For those with a membership and/or jersey already, the cost is lower). All you need is a bike in good working condition(road preferred) and an approved cycling helmet.  The course will be held at St Elizabeth Seaton church 17955 Leslie Street, Newmarket, Ontario. (North of Davis Drive, East of Leslie)

The program is limited to 30 riders so please sign up while there is still space. Eagles Membership Forms and the Learn to Ride/Race Registration Forms are on this page. For more information contact Ed  Veal  (real.deal@rogers.com).
