The UCI world rankings for mountain bike cross-country after the Madrid World Cup have Canada's Catharine Pendrel (Luna) holding onto her lead over world champion Marga Fulla (Massi) by a slim 31 points. Pendrel's win this past weekend in the US Pro XCT race in Alabama should pad that lead a little more. Canada also has the top ranked U23 rider with Emily Batty (Trek Store Toronto), and is the number one ranked nation, with a 1,075 point lead over the United States.
