At the Tour de l'Abitibi press conference, the 31th edition of the Tour was launched. This year 9 countries, 3 Canadian provinces and a few states will take part in this edition.

The 31th Tour de l'Abitibi will be the longest one ever, with a total of 639.10km.

This year a new jersey will be given the the best first year rider doing a first appearance at the Tour. The blue jersey or maillot de la rel&3232;ve will then be introduce for the first time at the tour. Naturally the brown jersey for the leader remain and the orange jersey for the point leader also remain.
